Qabila Westbay Hotel

We were declined entry to Qatar. Even though the situation was conveyed to hotel ahead of the time, still they didn't make any exception. prior to trip I called hotel and asked about covid quarantine policy they told they accommodate that too

The carpet is a little dirty.

I loved the view from my bedroom and how close the property was to the city center mall and all the nearest attractions.

We were initially placed in a smoking room, even though I had clearly booked a non-smoking room. The receptionist told me that rooms are allocated last minute depending on availability, which I find unacceptable given that the booking was already confirmed and paid for.I had to escalate the issue to the manager and even request a refund to be taken seriously. I was travelling with my 6-year-old child who suffers from asthma, and the two nights we had to stay in the smoking room were a nightmare due to the strong smell of smoke.Eventually, we were moved to a non-smoking floor, but this should have been arranged from the beginning. Hotels should honor the room type requested at booking, and if they cannot do so, they should not accept the reservation in the first place.

The bed is very comfortable, the hotel is quiet at night you can get a good sleep, location is very accessible and it's so easy to get an Uber here, it is easy to go to souq waqef area and the opposite site the pearl, I think the hotel is in the middle of all the nice areas

The lady at the reception was super nice I forgot her name but she tried her best to check me in fast although my room was not ready, I waited for a long time and then I think the manager upgraded my room type, I appreciate his gesture, but I booked a sea view room and I asked for a higher floor if possible, he instead put me in the 5th floor and kept saying it's an upgraded room type, I wish if he paid more attention to my wishes instead, as I didn't mind the room size and all I cared about is to be on a high floor and have a sea view, he kept saying I will see the sea from my room it's a Panaromic view, but when I went to the room all I can see is the large street with cars and the car parking, I really appreciate the room upgrade but it would've been nicer to pay more attention and put me in a sea view room like I booked.

Location is good with inbuilt facilities but lack the support team for services .

Paid in morning at reception and asked for extra bed: did not receive extra bed until late 11 pm in spite of reminders ! Asked reception to show another room (we booked suite No.1718) but nobody came ! This is how you give services at a Suite ?

i was overcharged by $94 for this booking.i have complained and complained but i am yet to be refunded.

Location was great, shopping, food,transport rooms comfortable beds amazing.

Basic breakfast, coffee machine for Speciality drinks no taste. Hotel lacks little more room if want for 3 people. Had to keep asking to put 2 rooms together as had 4 children as by law can only have 3 per. I mentioned befori booked but request wasn't follwed had to ask when arrive. Communication with some staff was bothersome as if you had a request had to keep asking. One young lady was amazing always helping if you catch her. Others dreading to ask for request.

Service was excellent, rooms were clean and very very nice view.

Everything was perfect! Amazing staff, amazing property with views ( 3 big windows) , amazing breakfast , amazing location. Thank you !

Everything was very good

The person who brought my luggage forgot a small piece and if I hadn’t noticed it when i was checking out i could have lost it.At the end it was located after i returned back to take it.

The staff are polite and very responsive to our calls. The view from our room is amazing.

They don’t have smart TV. No USB ports like the other hotels. Disappointing considering it’s a 5 star hotel.

I really liked the breakfast, swimming pool, rooms, and cleanliness. Especially, the staff members — Prabhash, Kakon, Taufic, Aeri, Fathi, Daniel, Huda, and Gluria — are friendly and hardworking. Their excellent behavior truly satisfies the guests staying at Qabila Westbay Hotel.

Everything is great, but the only problem is the outlets — there are no extension cords for phone and computer in the rooms charging

All services at Qabila Westbay Hotel are excellent. The staff members — Prabhash, Kakon, Taufic, Aeri, Fathi, Daniel, Moon, Huda, and Gluria — are professional, friendly, and always show great behavior toward guests. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding. All of these factors make guests feel welcome and encourage them to stay at Qabila Westbay

One thing I suggest is that extension leads for rooms because when charging the phone, there is no plug-in area around.

I like the rooms 'breakfast ,especially Umma Ali, which is proving by Daniel, and also the staff members are hard workers 'friendly. (Prabhash Kakon Taufic Aeri' FathiDaniel )

My suggestion is that extension codes for phone chargers absurdity are needed because there is no specific area for the phone cable. .

I like the services, breakfast and staff members. They are kind and professional.

There aren't any cutlets in the rooms to plug in the phone charger. I told them last year about extension codes or provide outlets for phone charges.
